This is a magnificent castle and a much visited area of St Peter Port. The view varies depending on which angle you are looking at it from. This piece is one from a series of depictions that were taken from views whilst at sea in a kayak. So certainly one less often painted. 
 
Shown on one of the brightest and bluest of days; the sea reflections and changing colours of the water is the main focus of this piece.
 
Painted on A3 300GSM textured water colour paper. Window mounted with a bevel edged frame and displayed in an A2 picture frame.
